Police are investigating two home invasions — one in Kitchener Friday night and one in Guelph Sunday night.
On Sunday, officers were called to a home on McCorkindale Place in Guelph’s west end just after 11 p.m.
“The victims reported that several males entered the residence and took personal property,” police said in a release. “There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.”
Police said they could not provide further details on the case Monday afternoon.
Anyone who may have information about the case is asked to call Guelph police at 519-824-1212 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
On Friday night, Waterloo Regional Police were called to a home on Doon Valley Drive in Kitchener.
In that case, two or three males entered the home and took items. There were no injuries.
Insp. Cate Welsh with Guelph police said it was too early to say of the two cases could be connected, but police services do look at similar calls at neighbouring municipalities during investigations.
